The story of Kınık began when Murat Arıç, who is known for his interest in hunting, discovered a natural mineral water spring while wandering around the foothills of Uludağ in 1952. With the idea of processing this spring that offers health and coolness, Murat Arıç laid the foundations of one of the long-established beverage brands of Turkey.

Kınık, which has been operating as a limited liability company following its mechanization and installation, has managed to become the best-known natural mineral water of Turkiye in a short time. Kınık Maden Suyu (Mineral Water), which was offered for sale as healing water in pharmacies, acquired the title of Kınık Maden Suları A.Ş. (Mineral Waters Inc.) in 1972 under the management of M. Rauf Arıç.

Kınık, which has reached the far corners of Turkiye by keeping up with rapid installations and technological developments, has become one of the top three brands in the sector with its effort to be worthy of the increasing number of natural mineral water consumers over the years. In 1991 and 1992, Kınık started offering non-returnable product ranges to its consumers with the production of non-returnable bottles by Paşabahçe.

With the sudden death of M. Rauf Arıç in 1993, Didem Arıç (Kurdoğlu) acceded to the management in the Kınık brand. With the investments in the early 2000s, Kınık started to produce 4 lines in an open area of 27,000 m² and a closed area of 9,500 m². Kınık, which produces products 24 hours a day with a filling capacity of 165,000 bottles per hour and 3 shifts, delivers its products all over Turkiye and the world.

In 2009, the “Kınık Healthy Beverage Group” strategy was created with moves aimed at increasing the product diversity. Within the scope of this strategy, in addition to plain mineral water, fruit-flavored mineral water Kınık Vio, the first and only mineral water in Turkiye with real fruits and rich in vitamins and minerals Kınık Activ Extra, Kınık Lemonade and Kınık Gazoz started to be produced. Today, twenty kinds of Kınık products offer health and coolness to their consumers.
