The company, founded by Dede (Granddad) Halil Erbey in Bursa Uzunçarşı in 1940, has carried out its activities ever since by the following generations and is now run by the 3^rd generation manager Orhan Erbey.

Altıncezve Gıda, which was initially engaged in dried coffee business, has increased its product variety and service network over time. The company sustains the manufacturing and wholesale distribution of over 100 products, mainly “fruit flavored beverages, Turkish tea and coffee”.

Since the early 1990s, the company has consistently delivered its products, manufactured through fully automated processes in a closed circuit production system at its factory, to various regions across Türkiye. It has become a leading brand in its category, particularly in the out-of-home consumption sector nationwide.
 
In the early 2000s, the company expanded its portfolio with innovative products targeting end consumers and retail channels. Operations in this segment involve collaborations with local market chains and dealers. Altıncezve Gıda primarily serves the domestic market but also engages in exports to over 20 countries.
 
Situated in the Yıldırım district of Bursa, the company operates from its main factory, covering an indoor area of 8,000 m2. The production process involves collecting fresh tea leaves from villagers in the Ketenli village of Rize, where the second factory of the company is situated. Altıncezve Gıda adheres to ISO HACCP standards and undergoes regular inspections by relevant ministerial units. In essence, the 3rd generation upholds the long-standing trust and quality associated with Altıncezve.
